The changes that Hitler made in German society when he became a chancellor were basically very important ones. One, he wanted to change politics by establishing a strong political presence with the Nazi party, the party-state, and in economics, trying to change the economic situation after Germany was devastated in World War I and by the agreements in the Treaty of Versailles.  

Hitler always had the strong support of the state police known as the Gestapo, an issue that helped Hitler to spread his power and control as chancellor. Plus, with his oratory skills, he convinced the German society that he was the best man to lead the country.

Hitler was appointed chancellor on January 30, 1933.
