What was the fundamental question addressed in each of these congressional acts?

History

The fundamental question for the Missouri compromise was “Should slave labor be allowed in new states?” because free states and slave states both wanted equal representation. By making Missouri a slave state, Maine was made a free state to keep this equal.

The fundamental question in the Compromise of 1850 is also “Should slave labor be allowed in new states?” because it allowed new territories such as Utah that the US gained from Mexico to decide whether to allow slaves or not.

The Kansas-Nebraska act is the same as the others because it repealed the Missouri Compromise and required that all states/territories decide whether slavery would be allowed or not.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

.
What is fur trading? Why were beavers fur trade is so
popular?
tofur trade 2
krok68 [10]

Answer:

The Indians traded furs for such goods as tools and weapons. Beaver fur, which was used in Europe to make felt hats, became the most valuable of these furs. The fur trade prospered until the mid-1800's, when fur-bearing animals became scarce and silk hats became more popular than felt hats made with beaver.
