Answer:

Sometimes the legal thing to do is different from the right thing to do

Explanation:

In the Robert Lee's "To kill a mockingbird", The Ewells were allowed to hunt all year although this was illegal. Hunting all year was to allowed for them to provide food for their family as the family was already the most despicable in the entire Maycomb country. The family lived in abject poverty and most times barely had enough during regular hunting season. Allowing them to hunt all year is the right thing though it is regarded as illegal to hunt in certain time of the year.

Read this excerpt from the end of paragraph 1 of Maureen Daly's “Sixteen” and answer the question.
jonny [76]

The correct answer would be option C: "feels slightly foolish about the events that occur", this due to the way the excerpt is written, since, it seems the author wanted to let the readers know that the narrator isn't stupid, so that they keep that in mind, when they read about a foolish thing said narrator did. If the narrator did something dumb, then option A and B would be discarded, as would option D.

What does the alliteration help readers imagine, and what mood does that create?
UNO [17]
The sound of similar sounding word usage can make the state of mind or tone of a ballad or bit of composition. For example Gentler sounds like "h" or "l" may make a more reflective or sentimental state of mind or tone. The monotonous sounds in similar sounding word usage work with different components like meter and word decision to make the coveted state of mind or tone.
