1. Nosotros ______ _____________ el pelo con el cepillo. (cepillarse)
kodGreya [7K]
We have some sentences that need to be completed with a verb in parenthesis but how? Well the way we would use is the Reflexive Verbs and Reflexive Pronouns. In Spanish, if the subject in a sentence performs an action on or for itself, then the verb is considered to be reflexive and the pronoun used to receive the action is reflexive. The singular reflexive pronouns are: me (myself), te (yourself), and se (yourself - formal or himself, herself). On the other hand, the plural reflexive pronouns are: nos (ourselves), os (yourselves - informal Spain), and se (yourselves, themselves). If the object of the verb is the same entity as the subject, you'll need to use a reflexive pronoun that matches the subject of the verb in both number (singular or plural) and person (first, second, or third). In Table 1 (below), you will find the different forms Spanish reflexive pronouns take.

So by understanding the previous concepts let's solve this problem:

1. Nosotros nos cepillamos el pelo con el cepillo

We brush our hair with the brush

2. Ricardo y Teresita se miran en el espejo.

Ricardo and Teresita look in the mirror.

3. Julia se peina el pelo con la peinilla.

Julia combs her hair with the comb.

4. Margarita se lava el pelo con el champú.

Margarita washes her hair with the shampoo.

5.Yo me ducho temprano todas las mañanas.

I take a shower early every morning.

6. Yo me pinto los labios con el lápiz de labio rojo.

I paint my lips with the red lipstick.

7. Tú siempre te pintas la cara todos los días.

You always make up your face every day.

8. Tú te lavas las manos con el jabón.

You wash your hands with soap.

9. Ustedes no se afeitan por la mañana.

You do not shave in the morning.

10. Marcos no se seca el pelo después de ducharse.

Marcos does not dry his hair after showering.
