My pancake cake recipe:
Assume the mix has already had water added.
1. Lightly whip the mix until it's slightly resistant
2. Generously dash it with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon
3. Stir until the mixture blends with the mix somewhat evenly
4. Chill 1/4 cup of whole milk then with vanilla extract, add to the mix and continue to stir (until even)
5. Pour mix into container and lightly sprinkle with chocolate chips
6. Cook until a light or golden brown and then add light drizzle of maple syrup
A declarative sentence is a statement. Such as, "I went to the park yesterday." That is declarative, because it is stating a fact. Another way to know it's declarative is, all declarative sentences end in periods. But you shouldn't get these mixed up with imperative which are commands. Hope this helped!
In the sentence "My friends and i walked quickly around the small lake", "around the small lake" is the adverb phrase.
It is important to know the meaning of adverb phrase first,
otherwise finding the adverb phrase in a sentence would be difficult. An adverb
phrase is actually a word or a combination of word that acts as an adverb. It
has the capacity to mention why, where, how or when. The adverb clause will
always have a verb and a subject.
