With more factory jobs more people were needed to run them. President Lincoln had also passed the emancipation law allowing African-Americans to work and fight in the war.

Than they were free to help the European countries fighting against Germany, and Germany found itself in a position to fight alone against everyone, so understandably lost the war in the end.
