Well in these days there are many different shapes and sizes of people, and also many allergies that people have to different things so there are many reasons why someone may want to make their own clothing.
Some people can't find the size they need so they make their own clothing tailored to their own size so they know the clothes they want will fit them.
Some people have allergies to certain things like cotton or polyester and they can't where some things and it's hard to find the clothes they need and it can be really stressful.
Some people just want their own style without having to pay all the money when they can do it themselves, after all why pay so much money if you can make something you know you'll personally like way cheaper?
