What organization did workers form in the mid-to-late 1800s to improve pay and working conditions
harina [27]

Many workers got together to organize what we now know as unions during the late 1800s. The workers created at first local unions in single factories. Eventually, those unions ended up using strikes to demand what they wanted from their employers: a raise to their wages for some. Sometimes it was all about their working conditions safer.
