Friendship is a state of affection, respect, intimacy and trust between two people. In all cultures, friendships are important relationships throughout a person's life. Friendship is also a close bond between two people who are characterized by feelings of care, respect, admiration, interest, or even love. The true definition of friendship is the relationship between people who love each other and enjoy each other's company. An example of friendship is when you have a friend with whom you love to do things.

Paragraph on sense of cooperation
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

In present educational system there are variety of competitions in academic area and athletic area for children to attend, which could stimulating the will of children to learn and to achieve the best of them, and also be able to teach them teamwork skill. However, some people think it is better to make children be competitive than cooperative, both the values have its arguments.

A strong competition sense helps children having urge to learn or to practice for being the best among peers, and this factor is initially arises from the schools and parents, to encourage children to get the highest scores through the grading system. Even though a competitive child is usually more motivated to pursue a goal or to face difficulties independently, but it is also risky that children are becoming too competitive to cooperating with others. Being competitive leads them to success, but could also restrict them in many ways. For example, it might be hard for a competitive person to deal or manage in a team work project.

On the other hand, cooperation is also an essential quality for children, no matter in school activities or in communities. Having a good cooperating spirit helps kids to communicate and get along with others, which gives them more possibility to solve problems or to achieve a goal easily by working as a team. After all, in society, there is hardly anyone who could has big achievement by oneself. For example, famous singers or movie stars, despite of their talent to make them successful, there are always a team to manage works or deal with things.

Competition and cooperation are both essential skills for people to live in this world. Someone believe it's better to put their children in a competition environment early to adapt current society, but others say that cooperation is the most significant skill which children have to know well. In this essay, I will talk about both side and give my own opinions about them.

However, only focus on competitiveness is not always beneficial for children. To begin with, young children are naturally egocentric. Therefore they have to learn how to feel other people's feeling and help other one. No parent want their child become a selfish man, isn't it? In addition, group work is a good way to teaching children communication skill and sense of responsibility. We are now live in a highly-interdependent knowledge society, it is hard that one man can cope with everything, no matter how brilliant you are, work as a team always the best and effective method to getting a success.

In conclusion, it is almost impossible to separate these two features of our lives. Competition and cooperation are potential elements in our blood, they are most important factors to us to establish current world, and children have to learn both of things well.

Some people argue that children should be motivated to join competition, while other conclude that sense of cooperation is needed among children to make them better adults. However in my opinion, i believe that mix of both sense of competition and cooperation is needed to make children better adults.

There are many advantages of competition. Firstly, the sense competition among children will strive them to work hard and get first position in class. The students competing against each other, will try hard to improve themselves in order to perform well against their rival students. Each student will try his/her out most to achieve better position in class. We live in a very competitive society, so students should be prepared for it. When i was student, my school lacked sense of competition, students only cared about passing the exams. As a result our school ranked lower. So competition among students is also important.

There are also disadvantage of competition. As students will become selfish. Many parents would also compel their children to achieve better marks, so they can feel superior in family.

On the other hand there are many people who believe that cooperation has better influence on children than competing among them. Team work solves problem faster and better. Children studying together can help each other understand better, and can solve their home work much quicker. Each can help other in covering their weakness. In groups students can learn a lot of skills from each other. It also become easier for them to interact with other individual in the society. However different occasion need different skills, for example during exam, helping each other mean cheating.

So in general, mix of both competition and cooperation should be taught to the student

Why does the radley place fasinate scout jem and dill? in the book how to kill a mocking bird
qwelly [4]

Jem doesn't want Atticus to return the blanket because he realizes that Boo Radley cares about them and knows that taking the blanket could possibly cause trouble for Boo.

Also, Jem understands that Boo has no desire to get the blanket back, As the above answer states, the Radley place is a source of endless fascination and intrigue for Scout, Jem and Dill because it is so mysterious. It provides something for their imaginations to feed on in the sleepy little town of Maycomb. ... The way that Scout first introduces Boo Radley to the story is interesting.much like the items left for them in the tree.

The dare between Dill and Jem appears in chapter one of Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird. ... Jem tried for three days to get Jem to approach the house and get Boo to come out. It is not until the third day that "Dill got him." In the end, the bet between Dill and Jem only required Jem to touch the Radley house.

Describe Boo Radley, according to Jem's description. Six and half feet tall, dined on raw squirrel and cat, hands were blood stained, long jagged scare across his face, yellow and missing teeth, bug eyed, drooled most of the time. 16. Dill and Jem make a bet at the end of this chapter.

What do you learn in this chapter about Maycomb, Atticus Finch and his family? We learn that Maycomb is a mall Southern town in Alabama. ... Atticus is a Lawyer who is bringing his two children up. Their mother has died (we find out later) and Atticus "was related by blood or marriage to nearly every family in the town."

Small for his age, Walter Cunningham is a shy and timid boy who apparently is riddled with hookworms. Scout is bigger than Walter even though he is nearly as old as Jem, and Scout has no problem "rubbing his nose in the dirt" in the schoolyard.

Dill has run away from home because his mother and new father did not pay enough attention to him. He took a train from Meridian to Maycomb Junction, fourteen miles away, and covered the remaining distance on foot and on the back of a cotton wagon. Jem goes down the hall and tells Atticus.

Set in the small Southern town of Maycomb, Alabama, during the Depression, To Kill a Mockingbird follows three years in the life of 8-year-old Scout Finch, her brother, Jem, and their father, Atticus--three years punctuated by the arrest and eventual trial of a young black man accused of raping a white woman.

I made a code. Decipher it.
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

SORRY I DON'T KNOWN....

Decipher means translate from code, or more generally, figure out. If you can't decipher your teacher's writing, it means you can't read it. You might feel like you're being asked to decipher a code. During World War II, the Nazis used a machine called the Enigma to encode secret messages.
