<span>Competition in the ecosystem is the interaction of living organisms.
During competition, one organism is always lowered by the other. There are a lot
of factors when you talk about competition; territory, food, water, and shelter
can be a factor used during competition. Competition can never happen if two
organisms are not located in one habitat. In order for competition to happen,
organisms must be placed in one environment so that they will be able to
compete with the factors around them. </span>
Clothing manufacturer Harry Stoner (Jack Lemmon) mourns the loss of his youthful idealism even as he seals his fate by arranging to have an arsonist (Thayer David) torch his faltering factory for the insurance settlement. Stoner's conflicts with himself, his business partner (Jack Gilford), his distant wife (Patricia Smith) and a demanding client (Norman Burton) boil over during a nightmarish presentation at a fashion show, while a free-spirited hippie girl (Laurie Heineman) offers escape.
