Answer:

Sadako

Character Analysis

The novel’s protagonist, Sadako Sasaki is a spirited and ambitious eleven-year-old girl with a passion for running free. Sadako was only a year old when the nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima nine years previously (at the end of World War II), but swears she remembers the heat and light of the blast as clearly as if it were yesterday. Sadako’s enthusiasm for celebrating life is sometimes mistaken by her mother and father as disrespect for the past. She longs to join the racing team at her junior high school next year, though as she begins running small races against her friends at school, she finds herself growing dizzy and faint rather quickly. Sadako is soon brought to the hospital where she is diagnosed with leukemia, an effect of the radiation from the nuclear bomb that still lingers throughout Hiroshima. As Sadako struggles in the hospital, her friend Chizuko instructs her in the art of folding paper cranes, and Chizuko gives Sadako hope with by telling her the legend that anyone who folds one thousand cranes is granted their wish—Sadako’s, of course, is to be healthy again and return home to her family. As Sadako’s illness worsens, she is comforted by her family, her friends, and others in the hospital—a boy named Kenji, whose passing shows her the freedom death can offer for those who are truly ill, and her kind caretaker Nurse Yasunaga. Though Sadako eventually perishes, she comes to accept the freedom death represents, and her illness—the casualty of a tremendous act of violence—becomes a rallying call for her community as they finish folding one thousand paper cranes in the name of peace, unity, and kindness on Sadako’s behalf.

Bullying. It is more then what we know. it all starts with you and the bully or are you the bully?. So let's talk about what a bully is, and how you are being one and, how to stop bullying and some factors of how to practice online and offline safe ways to stop bullying

So, what is a bully? Well a bully is someone a female or male who is either

Harming someone for a bad reason or they are just plain right to mean spirited and don't care, and think they can do whatever to anyone. Let's make this clear there are lots of bullies and at on point, you have been one. Well, you may have not known it because you weren't 100 percent aware of how you made someone feel when you did or said what you said. At most, you will say sorry work it out and even maybe become friends after that but for a bully, it's not the same case.

Bullies bully for a reason. So for one, it could be an outlet or even a cry for help. Maybe the person who is doing the bullying is going through a very hard time and his/ or she's outlet is bullying you. No this is not a good reason but, look at it from both ways. Your bully isn't just born this way, or maybe they have no heart and like to do whatever they want to which is still not okay.

So, let's look at some good ways to deal with a bully. Safe ways, so that no one gets hurt or bullied any more. This can be online and offline.

1- speak to adults- If this person is either in your school or close to where to live, let the older folks try to deal with it first

2- Do not stir up the pot. If the bully won't go away you walk away If they hit you self defense.

3- screenshot all the bad stuff they have said and then report this to the school or your parents at home.

4- Block or restrict this person's user from seeing or making bad comments about you online.

5- self-control may be hard but you need to remain calm unless you are hurt or this person has put hands on you.

Bullies come from a very hard and offsetting life. They seek the week but the strong. They will feed off of your weakness and, then keep doing it until you crack and fall. You may cry or even get scared of this person but, make sure you are doing everything you can to prevent it.

No, let's look at some ways you can help prevent bullying from happening,

1- see something say something- a lot of people are scared to speak up because they think they will then get bullied but no! If you help the bully will most likely stop.

2- confront the bully head-on in front of others- Do not be rude but be real and nice at the same time. Say stop and please

3- Do not join in- If someone is being bullied do not join in with the crowd. Be a leader, not a follower.

there are a lot of ways we can stop bullying
