Answer:

No.

Explanation:

Abraham Lincoln's assassination dramatically changed the Reconstruction era. President Abraham Lincoln, America's Civil War leader, was assassinated just five days after Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered his army at Appomattox Court House, ending the four-year War Between the States. John Booth wanted the war to be in favor of slavery, and have the South be separated from the North. By killing Lincoln, Booth had just ended the war.

Did new immigrants achieve the "American Dream" that they had hoped for?
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

Depends

Explanation:

Depends on which time they immigrated. If it was during the depression or war then definetly not, and the 20th century had plenty of political unrest in America (WW2, Vietnam, etc) so an argument could be made that they did not achieve the American Dream, but on the other hand it depends on who it was and where they were from compared to America.

How were the civilizations of the Huang River valley and the Nile River valley similar?
Cerrena [4.2K]

These two river valleys were similar, because they both had a government form in hierarchy. They both had a ruler, and they were in the monarchy system. Some of the systems were considered to be well off systems because they were able to rule without disruptions and others had systems which were not in equality with men and women.
