What is the verbal, situation and dramatic irony of The Cay chapters 7-12
Jobisdone [24]

Situational irony results when things happen in precisely the way we didn't expect them to.

The issue of Phillip's vision causes some situational irony: the only time he literally sees Timothy clearly is when he fails to "see" him as the kind man he is instead of an untrustworthy black man, which he isn't. And then Phillip goes literally blind and only then learns to "see" Timothy correctly.

Explain what it might have been like to live in a Hooverville.
Harlamova29_29 [7]

To live in a Hooverville it would have been very difficult. Shelters that were extremely uncomfortable and very cold to live in especially during the nights. But also live in the same clothing for such a long time and having no money to be able to pay for clothing, nor would you really be able to pay for food and ration it out to either other people or your family. But, it would be very very filthy.

Rose, harsh rose, marred and with stint of petals, meagre flower, thin, sparse of leaf, more precious than a wet rose single on
Montano1993 [528]
The correct answer is free verse.

Free verse is any poem that doesn't rhyme, and that doesn't have a regular meter. Rhyming couplets consist of groups of two lines whose ending words rhyme, iambic pentameter (the kind of rhyming that Shakespeare used) has 10 syllables per line that deal with stressed and unstressed syllables, and haikus are poems of three lines with 5, 7, and 5 syllables, respectively.
