Answer:

choice 1: Every decision is led by an act or an action. Making a decision based on a strong attractor field will lead to a better feeling overall and a decision guided by a weak attractor field will lead to a worsening feeling. Long term your life will be influenced based on your decisions both in how you feel and the circumstances of your surroundings. If you want to feel better, make decisions that are backed by positive intentions.

Choice 2: It can take ONE just ONE mistake or bad decision. Hang out with the wrong people ONE time, or be guilty by association and you could be spending the rest of your life in prison. The thing that could have kept you from prison was the just stay home “one” night. That one night. So many decisions could completely ruin the rest of your entire life

Because there is 'and' there I'm not sure what else you could use. However, you could rephrase it to "I value my independence because I want to be the only one in control of my life; I hate being told what to do."
