Honestly for me I care that there is some depth in it. Listening to people like Ed Sheeran is terrible. All he does is sing. You need to have some depth such as bass, backup vocals (that aren't on a soundtrack), or other harmonics. I was a trumpeter for many years. My favorite part of it all was being able to create that depth with a background harmony.
