What is wrong with these sentences?

German

In the second sentence, the would most likely use a <em>w</em> instead of a <em>v</em> for volleyball because a w in German is pronounced like a v. In that same sentence (the second one), the term “i comes before e except after c” does not apply. For German, it is always ei. I don’t know anything else about the second and first sentence, but I hoped that helped some.

Answer:

In the first sentence it should be hore (with an umlaut on the o) and there should be a capitol for Freizeit.

In the second one Volleyball is with a capitol V and it is spiele not spiellien. Also, the Freizeit should have a capitol F too.

I'm pretty sure they are right :)

Ergänze die richtige Form von "zerreißen":<br> Sie streifte einen Nagel und ______ sich das Kleid.
Gnom [1K]

Answer:

zerriss

Explanation:

Since the first verb (<em>streifte</em>) is in the Präteritum, the second verb should be used in the Präteritum, too, because the sentence shows a series of completed actions. <em>Zerreißen</em> is a strong, or irregular, verb, and its Präteritum form is also irregular: zerriss.

"Sie streifte einen Nagel und zerriss sich das Kleid."
