Answer: Group polarization.

Explanation:

Group popularization is a term used in social psychology. It refers to a situation in which members of a particular group develop more extreme attitudes during a discussion. In this case, Nora, Ko, Ian and May initially thought that Ms. Akey is a slightly better teacher than Mr. Schwenke. However, after discussing this issue together, they changed their opinions and concluded that Ms. Akey is much better in teaching than Schwenke.

when working out you should rise and lower weights with slow, controlled motion to maximize the benefits of lifting
navik [9.2K]

This statement is true.

When working out, you should always rise and lower weights with slow and controlled motions. It is to maximize the benefits of lifting and to prevent injury.

As for the benefits: Slow lifts can build muscles much faster than regular or fast ones. Rising or lowering the lifts in a slow motion forces the muscles to hold the weight longer. The particular muscle involved in the move stays activated longer. If one goes fast on lifting for example, momentum will do a lot of work which shortens the activity of the muscles. And the more a muscles works/is activated, the bigger it grows and the more it shows on the body. The goal is to fatigue the muscles before they fail. Muscle fatigue is a very good sign in building a muscle mass as the damaged muscles instigate greater growth. Finally, lifting/lowering slowly activates the skeletal muscles, they use a lot of energy and one burns more calories while using them.

Fewer accidents happen with slow lifting/lowering as one focuses on correct form and proper execution of each move; fast, uncontrolled moves can cause many injuries.

Write a paragraph of 80 words about your parent 's routine
Veronika [31]

Answer:

Parents are a great gift in ones life. I cannot imagine my life without them. They are very loving and care for me always. My father is Sanjay Pal (write your own father's name) and my mother is Sarbani Devi (write your own mother's name). My father is an architect and is a great designer. He is a very kind and hardworking person. He loves me very much and takes care of all my needs. Sometimes he brings beautiful gifts for me. He takes me out and fills my life with happiness and joy. He even teaches me at home and helps me complete my homework. My mother is a homemaker and is very caring too. She takes great care of the house and cooks tasty food for all of us. She takes me to school in the morning and to the park in the evening. She tells me interesting stories at bedtime. I am very dear to my parents. I love and respect them very much too. I do not know what to do without my parents. When I grow up I too will take care of them.
