Why do you think gladiatorial contests and public games were so popular among ancient Romans?
tatuchka [14]

Personally, I think it's because it was simple and free entertainment. Given that there wasn't a taboo around death and watching others die, and it actually being encouraged, like how it was in Anciient Rome, I'd say a lot of people would actually at least try out visiting a gladiatorial contest.

Of the governors that we discussed, which do you think was the most MOTIVATED to lead the Louisiana colony to success? * 1 point
stepan [7]

The correct answer is C) O'Reilly.

You did not include the references, test, or context. However, we can say the following.

I think the most motivated goovernor that led the Louisiana colony to success was Alexandre O'Reilly.

After the mess left by Unzaga, Alexandre O'Reilly came to the Louisiana Colony decided to end up with the rebellions, and tried to put immediately order in the colony.

He brought with him more than 2000 troops in 24 ships loaded with these men and supplies to establish the control of the Spanish monarchy. He established in the colony on August 18, 1769.

After ending the rebellion, he enacted some legislation that installed the concept of Cabildo to govern the region.
