Licemer1 [7]
Hmm.. This is a tricky one.
A--- He uses his cleverness to make a fool out of the cyclops by making him say "Nobody attacked me!!" very funny.
B--- He only uses skill to win the contest. The only way he sues his cleverness was disguising himself as an old man.
C--- I personally think he uses his cleverness to have his crew tie him up against the mast so the sirens won't kill him.

The answer is B.. I hope! <3

Which term refers to an author's opinion about the subject of the text?
Liula [17]

Answer:

The term which refers to an author's opinion about the subject of the text is:

A. the author's point of view.

Explanation:

We can work with elimination to find the best option here. The author's purpose is why the author has written something, what he expects to accomplish with it, what impact he wants to have on the reader.

The main idea refers to the central, most important thoughts conveyed by the author. It is the main idea that determines what the text is about.

Resolution is found in stories. It is the final part of the story, after the climax has passed. It concerns the end of the conflict.

As we can see, none of the options above refers to an author's opinion. We are left with letter A. the author's point of view. When it comes to informational texts, the point of view of an author refers to his perspective and opinion on the subject, to what he thinks and feels about it.
