3. Relative location - Central Europe on the far eastern side. Moldova is bounded by Ukraine to the north, east, and south and by Romania to the west.

Moldova's natural habitat is characterized by forest steppes, a temperate-climate habitat type composed of grassland interspersed with areas of woodland or forest.
6. About three-fourths of Moldova's population consists of ethnic Moldovans. There are smaller populations of Ukrainians, Russians, Gagauz, Roma (Gypsies), and Bulgarians.

Gagauz, Russian, and Ukrainian languages are granted official regional status in Gagauzia and/or Transnistria.

Explain some of the causes and key events related to World War II.
Akimi4 [234]

There are many causes for WW2. First the treaty of Versailles was way to harsh. Italy felt like they where cheated out and they deserved more after WW1. Poland was splitting germany in 2 from mainland and east prussia which made germany want to invade poland to connect the 2 land masses. Some key events in WW2 would be operation Barbarossa, bombing of pearl harbor and D-day. Those 3 events lead to Germany's downfall.

Which of the following were goals of the Stamp Act? Select the three correct answers.
kow [346]

Answer:

Correct answers are:

a. to raise revenue for British troops stationed in the colonies

b. to raise revenue to pay the British debt from the French and Indian War

c. to gain control over the colonists

Explanation:

A, B and C are correct because after the war with France the national debt of Britain was higher than ever. In addition to that they decided to locate large number of troops in the colonies with the goal to protect what was achieved in the war. Of course, all of this meant that they need new taxes. That is why Stamp Act was enacted, because they needed to control the colonists who were paying the taxes more than ever.

D is not correct answer because British crown was trying to make colonists obey them more, not to unify them.
