I don't understand how I ended up in that situation. I could have just devoured that young man if I wanted to just like I did to that hyena. But something inside my head told me not to. The young man seemed like he feared me yet he had compassion in his eyes which said something like he would help me get off the shore.

At least in that moment I was full and I knew I could go on without food for some few days. I put all my hope unto the young man to take me into the shore as soon as possible. Moreover, I thought I could use some company especially a witty creature like a human. Until then I had to wait and see what awaited us in the middle of the ocean.
