After the war there was also research to be conducted when the Allies now had access to German inventions such as jet aircraft and recoil operated muzzle boosters to make guns fire faster. More and more jobs were being created and more and more money was made for everyone all over America. In a way, WWII saved the U.S. from more devastating years of the great depression.
