The Haitian Revolution marked a great change in World  History because it changed the geopolitics of empire in the Americas, threatened to damage the trans-Atlantic slave trade and plantation economy. The social instability of Saint Domingue was the main cause of the Haitian revolution. The French Revolution helps in giving rights to slaves, and therefore causing anger and hatred between these different social classes of people led to this revolution.
