What was the effects of the mass demonstrations of strikes that had immediately followed the economic collapse beginning in 1893
butalik [34]

There were several different effects of the mass demonstrations of strikes following the economic collapse in 1893. This includes:

1) The development of labor unions- Industrial workers felt that they were being overworked and underpaid. Many of these workers had this sentiment and started to work together to form labor unions. These organizations would fight for safer working conditions, better pay, shorter work days, etc.

2) Violence between laborers and managers- During this era, there were several examples of striking workers who got into violent altercations with their managers or law enforcement officials. A perfect example of this would be the Pullman Strike that took place in 1894.
