A task force to encourage car pooling did a study of one-way commuting distances (in miles) of workers in the downtown Dallas ar

ea. A random sample of 60 of these workers was taken. The commuting distances of the workers in the sample are given in the following grouped frequency distribution: Class limit (distance in miles) Frequency 1 - 10 18 11 - 20 24 21 - 30 10 31 - 40 4 41 - 50 4 For this grouped frequency distribution, the modal class is A. 11 - 20 B. 21 - 30 C. 1 - 10 D. 41 - 50

Answer:

The modal class is 1 - 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

See attachment for frequency distribution table

Required

Determine the modal class

To determine the modal class, we simply look for the class with the highest frequency.

In the given frequency distribution table, class 1 - 10 has the highest frequency of 21.

Hence, the modal class is 1 - 10

Answer:

 37°

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagonals of a rhombus are angle bisectors. Angle 1 matches the other half of angle L.

 ∠1 = 37°

__

Angle 2 is the complement, 53°, and angle 3 is the same as angle 2, 53°.

The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other, so angle 4 is 90°.

What is 24.051 rounded to the nearest hundredth? How did you solve it?
4vir4ik [10]
This is like late elementary/early middle school stuff where you learn this.
First off, what number is in the position of the hundereth place? 0? No. 1? No. 5 yes! Now how i learned how to round is you take the number to the right of whatever you are being asked about and round it up or down. Now if the number (in this case it is 1) is lower than 5, you round down (or keep it the same) but if it is 5 or higher you round up. since 1 is lower then 5, that 5 in the hundereths place stays the same.

What are the two ways you can find the distance between points (X1,Y1) and (x2,y2) in the coordinate
igomit [66]

The first (and most typical) way to find distance of two points is by using the distance formula.

distance=\sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2 }

One alternative is the Manhattan metric, also called the taxicab metric. This option is much more complicated, and rarely used in high school math. d(x,y)=∑i|xi-yi|
