Why were weaving and embroidery not accepted forms of art until recently?
just olya [345]
That is because critics and academics are rarely open to new ideas and expanding the understanding of art. Similar thing was about movies when they first started appearing, and also about comic books. There are many critics who would still not accept these, or weaving as forms of art, but it's a never-ending expanding list and soon even video games might be considered art.

Learning Task 1: In your answer sheet, identify what country do phrases
kotykmax [81]

The country that the phrases portray is China, which is the largest country in East Asia and the most populous in the world, with nearly 1.5 inhabitants. Mandarin is the most spoken language in the country, by around 70% of the population.

It is the third largest country in the world and its form of government is a one-party Socialist Popular Republic, and also considered a Popular Democratic dictatorship.

The country's landscape is made up of steppe forests and deserts. Stone Forest is a natural landscape of limestone monoliths that is located in the Shilin area and is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Forbidden City is one of the oldest architectural works of the Chinese Empire, being a great symbol of supremacy and political instability of a Unitarian regime. The Forbidden City was transformed into a palace museum and has been open to the public since 1925.

The Great Wall of China is another heritage of the Chinese Dynasty, being a structure built to prevent invasion and to protect the silk trade route.

The Great Wall is a grand construction that passes through 15 Chinese provinces and regions, being considered by UNESCO as one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world, being visited annually by 10 million tourists.

Open ended question: Think of two ways we can work to include those
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

I'm on the yearbook staff and the biggest way we incorporate everyone is through having fun interviews and questions for students to answer in their grade level of mugshots. We do this because having 20 pages of straight pictures of people faces is kind of boring so we will have some interviews at the top or bottom of the page asking things like "If you were in a TV show for the day which show would it be?" It gives more opportunities for people to be included in the book
