Though her story shows the of cruelty, it also shows how good and generous a person can be. Miep Gies put her own safety on the line to help protect not only the Frank family, but also the Van Pel family and Fritz Pfeffer. She kept them safe as best as she could for as long as she could. Even in a time where most people would turn their backs on people in need and only think about themselves. Not only that, but Anne and her famil remained good and loving people which seems almost impossible given the circumstances they were living in. On two very different sides of the spectrum, a person can be truly evil and vile. On the other end, a person can be good and loving and generous.
