Answer: Positive and negative effects of Industrial Revolution

Explanation:

The Industrial Revolution saw an increase in the efficiency of technology and thus allowed for goods to be produced faster and in larger quantities which led to goods being cheaper. Transportation and communication also became faster as modes of transport like Railroads gained momentum and there was a rise in the standard of living.

However, there were dangerous working conditions in factories where people would toil for long hours with low pay. So many people moved from the rural areas to the urban areas in search of jobs which led to overcrowded urban areas.  

This excerpt therefore shows the advantages and disadvantages of the Industrial Revolution.
