You can chose any of these since they’re probably the most affecting crimes: littering, murder, violence robbery, burglary, or assault. Littering causes many problems in the world and it can ruin the quality of many things like air and water sources. Murder is able to change many things in a society, especially if it gets spoken about a lot. It can really affect people and their emotions. Violence robbery can affect peoples business and their health. This can affect society because the business won’t be viewed as safe anymore. Burglary is a serious crime and it makes people feel less safe, especially when it’s out in a public place. It can affect people’s view on safety. Assault can really drain someone out and once again, people won’t feel super safe, especially if they were the victim. It can really make people feel unsafe out in public areas.

densk [106]

Initially, a defendant's case is at a trial court (Federal, State, Circuit Courts).

Then the case proceeds to the Court of Appeal before finally moving to the Supreme Court of the state or at the federal level.

But it is not true that all cases must move to the Supreme Court when the defendant appeals. The movement to the highest court requires the acceptance of the defendant's argument and the merit of each case.

Thus, the defendant's case can move from a trial court, an appeals court, and then to the supreme court.
