Answer: Uses allegorical characters; Gives moral guidance to the audience; Supporting characters represent good and evil.

A morality play is a type of allegorical play in which the protagonist encounters personifications of virtues or moral qualities who try to persuade him to choose a good, virtuous life.

These personifications are usually both good and evil, and the purpose of the play is to provide moral guidance to the audience. This type of theatre was particularly popular during Medieval and early Tudor times.

Which of these transition words would be appropriate for indicating time?
aleksklad [387]
For indicating time, the best answer is C- During, because this word tells a reader when an action is taking place.

Again implies that something has been done before, and is being done again, but does not imply when it is being re-done.

Furthermore is a word with a similar meaning to "Also", so it is not connected to the idea of time.

Besides generally means "other than" which, again, has no connection to time.

Even though Grendel seems as though he's being harsh by eating the exile, he is actually being practical. He says he tries to do things that are more considerate like befriending or ignoring him. However, since the exiles were treacherous, eating them is the most practical solution.
