Answer:

Code switching talks about switching from one language to another and/or changing into a new identity. In I am  black one of the mains things she talks about is the fact that she is able to have to change from one person to a different type of person than herself and her heritage. They both deal with the idea of identity and one is more personal and more meaningful than the one with just the facts.

If you were Anne Bradstreet, how would you feel about having a preface like this one in your book?
tatuchka [14]

I would feel proud, becasue it tells what she had to conquer as a woman in 1650. It was a very hard time for women back then so being described as a respectable person would be very rare for women.
