Afina-wow [57]

The author in “ Nights and Dragons” is Abigail Prynne. The main idea to this story is that dragons are a magnificent creature and that they were real in a period of time. She talks about how every since she was little she has been so fascinated about dragons. Now as she was getting older she wanted to know if dragons ever existed. She started getting discouraged because according to science dragons never existed. This because scientist would say that it's impossible for a creature like that to be able to breathing fire because no animal has ever done that . They would also say that someone would’ve found remains of a dragon.

Which additional word in the sentence should be capitalized? I called mom on my cell phone from the gymnasium around six o'clock
Katyanochek1 [597]

D. Mom should be capitalized because I believe it is a proper noun.

You can replace the word mom with a person's name. That is not always the case however. For example, I called my mom on my.... If you capitalized mom in this sentence and put a name then it wouldn't make sense because the word my was added. Hopefully this helps and makes sense. Good luck!!!
