According to Baughman, how did the press treat Andrew Jackson, who was elected president in 1828?
Oliga [24]

Answer: Party newspapers gave one-sided versions of the news.  Papers in opposition to Andrew Jackson in 1828 attacked him for marrying a woman before her divorce had been finalized.  He was the violator of marital virtue, a seducer.  Jackson, one paper declared, “tore from a husband the wife of his bosom.”  Pro-Jackson newspapers insisted on the general’s innocence, and accused his critics of violating his privacy.  There was no objective, middle ground.

BlackZzzverrR [31]
The party that "would make war" is the Confederacy. The party that "would accept war" is the Union. The tone of Lincoln's second inaugural address is subdued and weary. He states that the war has gone longer than it should. In this sentence he assigns both parties a responsibility for the war that has divided the nation.

What cultural value does the forest nymph most likely represent
snow_lady [41]

In greek mythology, nymphs are described as female Goddesses that live at  a specific landform or terrain, such as woods, river, etc. They were described as divine, pure, and loved by many.

I would say that the cultural value that they represent would be : Romanticism and Sensualism.
