There is no better workout for the body than climbing. It forces a person to use his or her own weight against gravity. This end

s up working almost every muscle in the arms, legs, and trunk. I was uncertain about this until I went out for my first climb. I was hooked immediately. My brother, who I greatly look up to, introduced me to climbing three years ago. Since then, I have lost twenty-five pounds and am in the best shape of my life. I eat better. I sleep better. I live better. How did this author develop a bias in favor of climbing?

Answer:

Look below.

Explanation:

The author developed a bias in favor of climbing by exemplifying the benefits that climbing has on your mental and physical self. The author uses persuasive words such as better and hooked. The author uses something common that every one struggles with as a solution with climbing.

tatyana61 [14]

The inconsistency is: the writing states that the cell phones are a monumental distraction at school but it encourages its usage at the same time.

According to the text, young peoples' attention should be focused on learning and the phones disturb the process. Therefore, they should be strictly forbidden at school. But there is no point in forbidding them, if using them to communicate with parents is seen as something positive and purposeful. This does not make any sense, this is double standards, the school should either allow the phones at school and not complain about them at all, or it should prohibit their usage without any exceptions such as communicating with parents or taking pictures with friends.

uranmaximum [27]

Answer: A. The creature's actions

Explanation:

Based on the information given, the author used the action of the creature in the excerpt to develop Grendel's character. This can be seen from the excerpt as the creature's action is being described.

Other options such as the creature's thoughts, Beowulf's words and Beowul's perspective are all incorrect. Therefore, the correct option is A.
