Based off the first two sentences, we can conclude that red is the dominant allele and white is the recessive allele.

Let's say R = red and r = white.

The genoytypes of the parents are RR and rr. The genotype of the first generation are all Rr

The punnet square for the second generation is:

               R          r

  r         Rr         rr

We can see 3/4 crosses give us red. Now we can multiply 3/4 and 1000 to get 750.
