CAN SOMEONE RUN THIS THROUGH GRAMMARLY PLEASE...How is Northrop Frye's claim related to the topics you will be studying this wee
Nezavi [6.7K]

The inference is that Frye’s claim relate to the topics; critical reading, viewing, and writing as it's vital in understanding the information and applying them in different situations.

How to illustrate the information?

It should be noted that thinking is one of the greatest gifts of human beings which also helps them develop language.

As the world progressed through the knowledge era, it was essential for human beings to think critically and make proper decisions. Critically viewing or reading or writing a piece would require one to take a neutral stand, precise, authentic, and persuading.

Literary theory is the __________ through which a critic evaluates, analyzes, or interprets a piece of literature.
Mamont248 [21]
I feel that the missing word is most likely "lens" - check if it's among your options.

When something is compared to a lens through which the word is seen, it means that the world is seen through a certain perspective, that it's using a certain interpretation: here that of literary theory.

What is the “Star Trek effect”?
Aleksandr [31]
Let's start first by using process of elimination. Usually, when given multiple choice, we can eliminate two answers right away. In this case, I would eliminate A and D, because those answers make no sense and appear far-fetched.
Now let's move on to B and C. Obviously both of these answers have bearing, however, our job is to chose the best answer. According to Google, the Star Trek effect is the cultural influence Star Trek has on the nation, for example, promoting interracial kissing and a diverse cast. Therefore, my best guess would be C, because it is a cultural aspect.
If my answer was correct, please let me know, and give me brainliest answer!

Using the following quote, select the rhetorical device that best fits.
slava [35]

The rhetorical device that best fits the phrase "Get your feet moving. We're leaving!" is C. Synecdoche.

What is a rhetorical device?

It should be noted that a rhetorical device simply means the use of language that is intended to have an effect on the audience.

A rhetorical device is a linguistic tool which employs a particular type of sentence structure, or pattern of meaning in order to evoke a particular reaction from an audience. Each rhetorical device is a distinct tool that can be used to construct an argument.

In this case, the rhetorical device that best fits the phrase is synecdoche. It should be noted that the Synecdoche is the figure of speech that is used when a part is made to represent the whole.

In this case, the person was referring to everyone.

In conclusion, the correct option is C.
