Ok, I'll do them all in order for you
Topic 1: Everyone should get an education, because it can get them higher paying jobs, make them more interesting as people, and, most of all, a more well informed citizen.

Topic 2: Bowling is a fantastic sport that everyone should play, because it has no age restrictions, it can be played at any time of the day, and it's cost effective.

Topic 3: Children require lots of care, as they have physical, and emotional needs to be met, and they also need help growing mentally.

Topic 4: Driving a car is a very big responsibility, as you must be careful not to harm yourself or others, abide by the rules of the road, and safely make it to your destination.

Topic 5: I think the school funding a new computer lab would be very beneficial, because the students can use it to do research for a paper, study for a test, or just do research for fun to learn new things that interest them.

Topic 6: I believe celebrities can act as good role models, as they may have a positive influence on their followers by sharing good messages with them, they may connect with their followers on a personal level, and they can even inspire their followers to be successful in life.

Really hope you get an A dude, good luck :)

How does the theme of fear emerge in the poem?
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

B. The narrator is startled when he hears a tapping at his door and sees the purple curtains in his room shake.

Explanation:

In the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe, the speaker is suffering for the loss of his beloved Lenore. One night, when he is almost asleep, he hears some tapping at his door. He immediately tells himself it is only a visitor, nothing more. As he looks around, he sees the purple curtains of his room moving. He is suddenly afraid, "filled with terrors", and again tries to convince himself it is only a late-night visitor. As we can see, that is the moment when the theme of fear emerges in the poem. Readers are now aware of what the speaker is feeling and how scary and mysterious his surroundings are.

And the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each purple curtain

Thrilled me—filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;

So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating

“’Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door—

Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door;—

This it is and nothing more.”

One statement that is an example of fallacious reasoning is:

  • There is no better way to establish hope for the future than to enlighten young minds.

What is fallacious reasoning?

Fallacious reasoning occurs if there are errors or inconsistencies in the reasoning, this might include errors of logic such as the reasons not supporting the claim or errors in the argument such as including irrelevant information.

What is one example of fallacious reasoning in "Remarks on East-West Relations at the Brandenburg Gate in West Berlin"?

One example of fallacious reasoning in this speech is:

  • There is no better way to establish hope for the future than to enlighten young minds

To support the idea of international cooperation.

This can be classified as fallacious reasoning because Ronald Reagan is trying to support the idea of international cooperation by appealing to feelings and emotions related to "hope for the future", which is not based on logic and is not valid.
