What developments caused the percentage of Americans who voted to plunge after 1900, and what role did courts play in anti-democ
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

The developments that plunged the percentage of American voters after 1900 are:

  • The Seventh Amendment
  • Exclusion of Immigrants
  • African American Voters.

The role played by courts was hostile.

Explanation:

The Seventh Amendment is a part of the Constitution of the United States that gives the right to a jury trial for certain civil cases. The amendment was added to the constitution by Thomas Jefferson on 1st March 1792.

Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 was the act that codifies the immigration to the citizenship of the United States.

The Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States gave rights to African Americans to vote. Though this amendment still did not give full rights to the African Slaves to vote, so the government passed the fifteenth Amendment also.

The above developments was the cause of plunged percentage in American votes after 1900.

The role that courts of America played in the development of such anti-democratic reforms was hostile. It did not interfere much in such developments.

What is the name of the law?

The Manage our Wolves Act was introduced at 09/12/2018 its last action 11/26/2018.

What level of government passed it?

The Federal Government

What is the purpose of the law?

The purpose of this law is to “address the protection of the gray wolf (Canis lupus) under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. Specifically, the Department of the Interior must issue a rule to remove the gray wolf in the contiguous 48 states from the list of endangered or threatened species and reinstate a rule that removed the gray wolf in the Western Great Lakes region from the list. The bill exempts those rules from judicial review as well as a rule that removed the gray wolf in Wyoming from the list.” (Sorry i didn’t know how to like paraphrase something like that)

What steps of the lawmaking process did it go through?

On 09/12/2018 it was first Introduced in the House. On, 11/09/2018 Reported by the Committee on Natural Resources. On, 11/16/2018 this law was Passed/agreed to in the House.

What did people who supported the law say? What did critics say?

The people that supported it were very keen on it because grey wolves have been becoming an increasing problem to ranchers in the past years by eating their livestock. However, the critics say that it will put this species back on the endangered Species Act within a very short period of time.

How could this law affect common Americans?

It will make the tension between the animal environmental groups and the farmers even more muddy and it will also change hunting permits for the grey wolf.

How could this law affect other levels of government?

It may cause states to consider changing its hunting laws or its hunting permit.

If i were a legislator or other government official at the time the law was still a bill under debate i would have voted against this bill because i don’t agree with the idea of being able to hunt and kill grey wolves who have just reached steady numbers by giving people the access to do that may be catastrophic it may  undo all the work the the Endangered Species act is trying to do and i believe that in a few very shorts years these beautiful animals will end up back on The Endangered species list.

Why were the mound builders mound builders
Thepotemich [5.8K]

<h3><em>Mound Builders, in North American archaeology, name given to those people who built mounds in a large area from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico and from the Mississippi River to the Appalachian Mts. The greatest concentrations of mounds are found in the Mississippi and Ohio valleys. The term Mound Builders arose when the origin of the monuments was considered mysterious, most European Americans assuming that the Native Americans were too uncivilized for this accomplishment.
