Hey there! I'm happy to help!

First of all, this building would attract small, wealthy families.

A large family would not do well in an apartment, but a smaller one would fit and it would be more economically advantageous as you would not have to pay for as many things for your kids. These things are also more likely to expensive near a downtown business, so a smaller family would definitely be a better fit. However, a family would still need to be remotely wealthy to afford an apartment like this.

It would also be a family because if it were just a single person or a couple, a school would not be as much of a pull factor.

A wealthy family is more likely to live in the suburbs of a larger city or in a more expensive house. Just with this information, you can utilize the concept of distance decay, which means that people are likely to interact with things closer to them. People will be more engaged with an advertisement if they are driving by it every day. So, you could put billboards or advertisement signs in the wealthy suburbs of a city or near expensive neighborhoods.

However, in a developing world comes space-time compression, which has diminished the effects of distance decay. This comes from technology and the Internet, which allow people to more connected than ever before. Richer families are more likely to own devices like computers and smart phones, so utilizing digital advertisements will be very effective and will probably be even more effective than physical advertisements as more wealthy families are more likely to be interacting with the Internet than poorer people.

Have a wonderful day and keep on learning! :D

Which statements accurately describe tropical rain forests? Check all that apply. They are found near the equator. They have a c
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

They are found near the equator

The temperature does not vary much

The animals often depend on camouflage for survival.

Explanation:

The bulk of the rainforest of the world straddles between 10 degrees north and south of the equator.

When you compare the temperature changes during a day in the tropics, it does not change too much. In some other climate, diurnal temperature changes is very wide e.g deserts.

Most organisms in the tropics relies on camouflaging as a means of survival. The biodiversity in the tropics is very high and a number of organisms coexists. In order for weaker and smaller organisms mostly the prey to survive, they have to camouflage and blend with the environment. Also, some predators also camouflage to deceive their prey.

The Gulf Stream starts near the __________ and carries _________ water up the east coast of the United States.
vaieri [72.5K]
GULF STREAM

GULF STREAM. A powerful, warm, surface current in the North Atlantic Ocean, east of North America, the Gulf Stream is one of the strongest known currents. It originates in the Gulf of Mexico as the Florida Current, with an approximate temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit, a breadth of no more than fifty miles and a depth of a mile or more. It passes through the Straits of Florida and up along the eastern coast of the United States to the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, Canada, driven northward by southwest winds.

As the Gulf Stream reaches Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, the cold Labrador Current that flows from the north separates it from the coast. At this confluence, the warm Gulf Stream waters combine with the cold winds accompanying the Labrador Current, forming one of the densest concentrations of fog in the world. Because of this immense heat transfer, atmospheric storms tend to intensify in this region. Also at this location, the Gulf Stream is split into two currents: the Canary Currents, which are diverted southeast and carry cooler waters to the Iberian Peninsula and northwestern Africa; and the North Atlantic Drift, which flows northwest toward western Europe, providing temperate waters to the western coastal areas of Europe. The water temperature decreases with the northward flow and the breadth of the current spans several hundred miles at its widest. The average speed of the Gulf Stream is four miles per hour, slowing to one mile per hour as the current widens to the north. The Gulf Stream transports as much as 3.99 billion cubic feet of water per second, an amount greater than that carried by all of the world's rivers combined. The current's core, or jet, follows the contours of the
