Answer:

it is asking you to read the paragraph that you have been given and then write 3 things what the project wants to do with the people around where you live

Explanation:

There are going to be workshops for children and an exhibition of artists that live close by is going to be invited. There are going to be tours and at the end of the restoration project, there is going to be a celebratory event. Lastly, there is going to be a booklet posted including oral histories of the people involved and a preservation trust to protect the mural in future years.

i hope i explained it clearly and hope it helps : )

Which lines lead you to the conclusion that macabeth has decided to kill the king
Alex Ar [27]

MacaBeth has three reasons not to kill the king. First, killing Duncan may come back to harm MacaBeth in the end. Second, the king is currently in MacaBeth's care and MacaBeth is his host. Third, Duncan is a noble man and many would miss him. MacaBeth's only reason for wanting to kill Duncan is his ambition to become the king himself. He decides not to do it. However, he is eventually convinced by Lady MacaBeth to go forward with killing Duncan when she questions his manhood.

When you summarize, you:
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

A. Condense the author's idea into a shortened version but in your own words

Explanation:

D. Take an author's idea word for word from the text is plagiarism, unless you are are quoting. C. Rewriting the author's idea in your own words in a version that is about the same length is paraphrasing. A. is the definition of summarize. When someone asks you to "sum up" a story, they are asking you to give you a shorter version of the story with only the most important parts. Paraphrasing and summarizing sound pretty similar, but the key difference is in length. A paraphrase should be about the same length as the original idea, summarizing should be shorter. B. is also wrong, since you are expanding upon the author's thoughts, when summarizing tries to condense them.

You are reading in a boarding school, write a letter to your school friend by telling what are you doing or what is your program
Anika [276]
Fill in the italics with what ever you want :)
Dear insert name here,
I'm having a great time here at my school! I get to read a lot and it's actually quite fun. The kids are great and really respectful; I wasn't expecting that! We're currently reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (or any book you like :). It's about a boy who turns out to be a wizard! My favorite character is Hermione Granger because she's so smart, and makes school her first priority. We're going to read the second book next. That's basically all we're doing until summer break!
Can't wait to see you!
