qwelly [4]

Answer:

Space research has permitted us to see beyond our environment. Thanks to NASA, we learned through space research is that black holes are real. For centuries, black holes were just a hypothesis, but scientists showed it was real in 1990. I think it has been worth the cost because space research helps humanity advance. NASA however has big findings to make in the future

Why were eyes painted on the outside of the coffin?
vodomira [7]

According to ancient Egyptian belief the deceased could see through the coffin, they placed eyes in the same position where they would usually sit on the deceased because after they died they eyes would decay so they could no longer tell where they were.

They were basically painted there so that the eyes would be more easily located after the person had died.
