Answer:
Dear MP,
I am writing to inform you why our youth are getting involved with illegal drugs. This is a huge problem in our area as drug use is up 14% in the last 12 months. This needs to come to an end!
I believe drug use is up because of the lack of opportunities for the youth. By this I am talking about the lack of things the youth can get involved in, for example in other areas, there are youth clubs where children and teens can meet up and socialize. This in turn keeps them out of trouble. I think if we invested in a youth zone, then this issue would be resolved and drug use would plateau.
Another reason drug use is up is the lack of role models. I believe this is because of fathers who have left home, or fathers who are not good role models. In my opinion, some of these people must be rehoused and put with a good family who will teach them. This may cause an uproar from the families but I truly think that this will be for the best.
I hope you take these ideas into thought as I think this will greatly help the issue of the youth engaging in illegal drugs. These will eventually lead to drug use in youth decreasing massively. Thank you for reading this, it is much appreciated.
Yours Faithfully,

Sorry, I could only think of 2 points but I think it's pretty good.

Many scientific theories that are mentioned in the novel have been applied in real life. For example, Galvani proved that stimulation of a frog's nerve causes contraction of the muscle to which it is attached. This was proven in 1791. Because of this discovery, there was extensive research and excitement throughout the European nation on the application of electricity to sustain human life.
