In a little town not to far from here there was a farmer and his son. They lived on a little hill while they attended their farm off to the east. In the free time though when the little boy wasn’t helping his dad, he was working on a little dam.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful farm. It was run by a hardworking farmer named Bob. Everything ran smoothly until Bob's son showed up.

"I want to go to the top of that hill over there," he announced.

"Why?" asked Bob the farmer.

"So that I can see that dam over there that the beavers are making," Sam, the son, replied.

"Go on your own, son. It's dangerous up there," warned his father.

"Fine. Suit yourself. You'll be sorry," the son absentmindedly returned.

Sure enough, Sam climbed to the top of the hill and slipped. He tried to keep a grasp on some of the grass, but slipped and fell to his death.

The End.

Moral: Listen to your parents. If you don't, you'll be sorry.
