Answer:

hope this helps

Explanation:

It was the month of April. I was very small then. Most probably I was a boy of five years old. I can still remember the experience of my first day at school. The name of my school is Arked Academy (write the name of your own school). My mother took me to the school and one of the teachers guided me to the classroom. As I entered the classroom I felt very shy and nervous but the teacher who was taking the class was very friendly. She caught hold of my hand and made me sit in the front bench. Immediately three-four boys came and shook hands with me. I felt comforted. It was the maths class and slowly I took out a copy and started to do the sums. After the period ended few more students came and introduced themselves to me. It was really a great experience to have friends in a new school. The school was over by 1 p.m. I came back home with my father. This is one of the memorable days in my life.

Answer: "Her lips were as red as roses in the spring"

Explanation:

The figurative language used in the last sentence is a simile

A simile is a comparison between two things that aren't alike--a simile MUST have the words "like" or "as", and this sentence uses the word "as" to compare her lips and roses.

Andrej [43]

Dickinson wants to make the point in "Tell all the Truth but convey it Slant" that we should tell the truth—the full truth—but do so subtly, indirectly, and in a roundabout way.

The reality, according to her, is too dazzling and bright for us to handle all at once.

In any case, the speaker makes a comparison between revealing the truth and reassuring young children about lightning by gently explaining it to them. Children need to be aware of the harshness of nature's rules and the unpredictability of human nature, yet adults often soften the reality to make it more pleasant.

Hence/Therefore,
