jeka57 [31]
Answer:
False

It’s was four out of five, meaning that one didn’t agree and saying that Crest is ‘superior’ does not rule out other brands because a comparison must be done to justify this statement and the statement does not specify Crest superiority.

Answer:

"They heard!–they suspected!– they knew!– they were making a mockery of my horror!– this I thought, and this I think.

Explanation:

"The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story written by Edgar Allen Poe. The story is about an unnamed narrator who has murdered an old man and is trying to hide his crime from the police.

The line from the text, that tells that the narrator is convinced that the police has heard his heartbeat is,

<em>"They heard!–they suspected!– they knew!– they were making a mockery of my horror!– this I thought, and this I think."</em>

In this line, the narrator is thinking that the police has suspected him and heard his heartbeat which is beating louder as he has comitted a crime.

Trava [24]

Answer:

I believe that in day to day circumstances, yes. We can control when we brush our teeth and what we put on our toast. Overall though, we cannot control our fate. In most religions and prominently in greek myths, fate is something higher you cant control. When someone tries to control there fate that is when they often make the worst happen. Fate is what will happen and cannot be persuaded or changed at all.

Hope this helped.
