ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

The statement that best describes the colonists' view of their relationship with the British government is <em>A: The colonists have demanded fair treatment from the British government many times, and they believe separating from Britain is their last resort. </em>

Explanation:

What this excerpt from the Declaration of Independence exposses in these lines is that the colonists have tried many times to make the British government attend their needs as a society: "<em>We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here.</em>" It says that they feel they have been "<em>deaf</em>" to their needs, and, as a consequence, they have to separate from this government.

Answer:

The sentence that best supports the inference that Madeleine's parents are supportive of her artistic interest it:

Her basement was equipped with countless  expensive art supplies, including an easel, dozens of sets of various paints, and  stack after stack of specialty paper.

Explanation:

<u>According to the passage, Madeleine would spend hours as a child painting in the basement. Since she was young and had no means to make her own money, the fact that she had expensive art supplies leads us to infer that her parents were supportive of her artistic interest. We can assume they were the ones buying her the supplies. That is why the best option is:</u>

Her basement was equipped with countless  expensive art supplies, including an easel, dozens of sets of various paints, and  stack after stack of specialty paper.

MINIMUM 100 words For each answer..
lesya [120]
1. The best part of the online English class experience was the fact that I got to work at my own pace in an environment that suited me. When I’m classrooms, sometimes it’s easy for the class to go too quickly for me to understand or too slowly for me to pay any attention at all. The worst part about the experience was that there were days were I couldn’t find it in me to want to do the work. I would procrastinate way too much and not do the work. At least in class, the teacher would have kept me on topic.
3. The online class compares with my in-school class close enough because the content would still be the same and it’s not like I would miss out on any of the information. I enjoy taking my time on the stuff I enjoy or don’t understand and rushing through the stuff I don’t enjoy or already understand. It’s been beneficial to my learning because I can cater my class to my needs. Sometimes I find it difficult that I don’t have a friend or teacher readily available that can answer my questions on the spot. Like, if I have a question about the basics of a topic, and can’t proceed because I don’t understand the foundation, not having an immediate answer slows me down.
