Which of the following were part of the Treaty of Paris 1783? Select ALL that apply. Question 10 options: The United States woul
kupik [55]

The United States would gain independence

The British were to fully withdraw all troops from US lands

Explanation:

  • The Peace of Paris was signed on behalf of the United States by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and John Jay.
  • Britain left the vast Indigenous areas of North America inhabited by Native Americans to the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes. Namely, during the war, Indians were also part of the British allies against the Americans. Now, Americans have been granted legitimate rights to expand westward and repress Indigenous peoples. Interestingly, Benjamin Franklin asked the British to give the United States even parts of Canada, but that did not work out.
  • Another consequence of the aforementioned Paris Peace was the withdrawal of the British Army from the US territory. The last major British garrison was in New York and left America the same year.

Why was the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty 1987 significant?
rewona [7]

Answer:

The 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty was significant because it required the US and Soviet Union to eliminate all nuclear and ground-based ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. This was big, because it reduced the threat of nuclear war all over the world. Without missiles, the world had a much less threat of destruction.
