I can't tell you which one is the answer since I don't have the text, but read through the passage, and think about how the announcer cutting into the "regular programing" makes you feel. Does it add suspense, annoyance, frustration or confusion?

What inference can be made about Zlateh in "Zlateh the Goat" while she is in the haystack?
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

We can infer that Zlateh was still a productive animal, capable of promoting Aaron's survival.

Explanation:

When reading the short story we can see that Zlateh was a very dear goat for the family that raised her, but due to Zlateh's financial difficulties and aging, the family decided to sell it to a butcher, because she believed she was no longer more as productive as before. Aaron, was the boy responsible for taking Zlateh to the city to be sold, but due to environmental conditions Aaron and Zlateh are trapped in a haystack.

Although Aaron had no food to survive while he was still worth it Zlateh ate the hay to produce milk and keep the boy alive, proving that he was still productive and useful to the family.

.“Let’s go to my house.” - “____________.”
wel
“Let’s go to my house.”
“Your house?”
“Yeah. You can meet my mom.”
“What about your dad?”
“Oh, he has to work late tonight. Sorry.”
“Don’t apologize, it’s fine! I’m sure I’ll meet him another time. Oh, don’t do your nervous thing! There will be plenty of opportunities for me to meet him later.”
“My ‘nervous thing’?”
“You know. Where you pinch your eyebrows together tilt your head over your shoulder.”
“Well, you’re a perceptive one...”
“Come on, don’t look at me like that! I notice things about a lot of different people.”
“Alright, Detective Beautiful, we should probably start heading to my house now. It’s not far, just about a ten-minute walk.”

“Hey, is that your dad in that picture on the mantle? The one in the navy frame?”
“Yeah, from when he was on a business trip in Seattle. You’re from there, right?”
“Uh, yeah, but the thing is...”
“What is it? Are you alright?”
“Uh, yeah, yeah, I’m fine, but the thing is...the thing is that I have...have the same picture, the same frame...at my house. On my mantle. Actually, I...I took the picture.”

Because the play Romeo and Juliet takes place hundreds of years in the past, there are some differences in our marriage values t
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

In my opinion, in the old days, everyone was jolly and grateful for who they got to marry. Money wasn't an influential cause, and although people were different colors, and had different personal attributes or aspects, they would get married for who they were deep inside. When Romeo and Juliet took place, they both were in separated families, and mainly people married their own color. However, money is greatly involved in our current era. People don't look for personal aspects or the way they are inside, many people are what we call "gold diggers". Only getting married for that cash, which is pretty sad these days. Another difference, in my opinion, is that people stayed married longer in the old days, not because of aging, but because of who they were inside, and the true gentleman inside of them. Today, many people get married just for the benefit of finance, and usually leave after cash is earned, which is overall sad.

Self Explanatory. Hope I helped.
