Answer:

5.14

Step-by-step explanation:

The way i solved this was i found the length of the line by taking the 2 (Width and also "A") and the 7 (The height and also "B"), squared both of them and added them together. Then found the square root. Sense i suck at explaining things this is what the equation should have looked like. \sqrt{(2^{2} +7^{2}) ÷ 2. At an annual salary of $55,000 per year, what is the amount of semimonthly paychecks?
Amiraneli [1.4K]
Semi monthly means 2 times per month
assume that pay is at beginning and middle of month (doesn't matter, but  makes it easier for me)

so 12 months
2 times per month
12 times 2=24
divide 55000 by number of months
55,000/24=2291.67

so the amount per paycheck, assuming equally distributed amounts throughout the paychecks, is $2291.67

Terms given

  • 40,35,32,39,34,35,35,37

No of terms=8

We know

\boxed{\sf Mean=\dfrac{Sum\;of\:terms}{No\;of\:terms}}

\\ \sf\longmapsto Mean=\dfrac{40+35+32+39+34+35+35+37}{8}

\\ \sf\longmapsto Mean=\dfrac{270}{8}
