Courage is a virtue seems like the answer, but I haven’t read the book. Though, I’m making an education guess because it takes courage to go to the moon.
Zoomed Into and Through The University
The figure of speech used here and the meaning of the clause could state:
1. Hyperbole. This is a type of figure
of speech which is used in exaggeration or amplification of a certain rhetorical
event. For example, it’s been a millennia where were you for the last 5
minutes?
2. It explains that the individual or
person rushed into the university because he/ she might be running late for
his/ her class or appointment.
When Obama says " Last year, we relied less on foreign oil, than in any of the past sixteen years" he is using persuasion. He is persuading the listener by appealing to their sense of being independent from having to get oil from some of the foreign countries that we were at war with. When he states "A strategy that's cleaner" he is appeasing the people who are environmentalists and who want to do what they can for the planet. He also manages to intrigue the common working man by stating that the country will be "full of new jobs."
